I am not sure about the proper term for this, so I will just call it the fixed section page in HTML.
Here is what I mean:
In this site, http://madebyjoyce.com/, the section with the pink background is the home section. It resizes with the browser window and other parts of the website will not be revealed unless the user specifically scroll down.
Also, how can I have the fixed header menu slowly fade in when the user scrolls down??
How are these effects being achieved? I am sure it’s a combination of HTML, CSS and jQuery if I am not mistaken. It will be really greatly if there is an in-depth tutorial which I can follow as I am new to web development.
Thanks in advanced.
