So I absolutely love this site (CSS-Tricks)… HTML 5 awesomeness! I’m not seeing any background images what so ever. My question is, how is that corner tab displaying in the upper left hand corner? I don’t know why I let little things bother me like this, but it is. Help me understand.

He uses the CSS-Triangle trick, and uses ::before psuedo element to add, and rotate, to any ‘article’ or ‘.turned-corner’ elements.

It took me a while to work the triangle trick out. If after reading the article it doesn’t make sense imagine the triangles point being the centre of a box with no bottom border, a coloured border across the top, and 2 transparent borders on the left and right.
