Just showing off my new baby!
I just launched http://www.TweetCool.com (CoolTweets.com was taken but I’m supposed to be buying it next week).
Here’s the skinny:
Once an hour one of my Twitter profiles, @CoolTweets, makes a scheduled post thanks to the help of Hootsuite, then through the power of WordPress and plugins, every Tweet takes the form of a new post on TweetCool.com.
these posts consist of "Found cool stuff from around with web with a wide range of topics. if its cool, its here".
the only criteria is that i have to think its cool on some level.
Aside from that I dont plan on posting through the site itself as of yet.
2 things i would like.
a. a plugin that looks for the first image in a post or in the body copy etc and then insert it into my post. that way my site can have images for all the posts without me having to do any extra work.
b. all my posts begin like so "Video:", "Interior Design:" etc. It would be great if there was a plugin that looked for the word preceding the ":" and then filed that post in a category.
if you can help with those plugins thatd be great.
