    Greetings,

I have project where i created most of site using a desktop first approach rather than mobile-first. Is this a easy to moderate transition to convert to the opposite(ie. mobile first ). Has anyone ran into issues such as this? Are there any principles i guidlines i could follow in this conversion or would this be considered a complete rewrite of structure. Very curious to hear everyone else’s thoughts on this..

    Thanks.

I designed my first website without knowing about coding and responsive web design.

Depending on the complexity, you may find yourself rewriting most of your code. However, I know some designers that only added media queries for their entire site.

One topic to always keep in mind is responsiveness. There are many frameworks that focus on responsive web design (Bootstrap is one). This might help, but without seeing a pen or page, one cannot guess how complex it will be.
