    is it possible to take a picture of an object add the picture to a software program that will convert the single picture into a 3d picture.??????? using html5 and css,jquery ???is it possible using what ?

    I’m not sure what you are asking but this is certainly not possible in HTML/CSS/JS/JQ.

    With Photoshop, you can take an image and convert it to a 3D postcard but it will, in the end, only be exported as another 2D image.

    lol, this would put all the 3D Modelers out of business.

    This is barley doable with experimental software, by AutoDesk, I’ve tried it, it’s pretty bad.

    This is in no way doable in HTML and CSS, I think you might be misunderstanding the purpose of these languages, HTML and CSS are for website development, CSS has a some tricks you can do to fake 3D objects, but they can not do what you are looking for them to do.

    I think the possible question is can he take a standard photo and convert it to the type where it would have the illusion of 3d assuming one had a 3d monitor (and requisite eyeware).

    That I think is different proposition from an actual 3d object.

    To be honest, I’m not aware of an specific process that could achieve this but since movies can be converted to 3d I must assume it’s at least possible.
