Contact form in IE 7 (#IhateIE)

please help , all the browsers seem to display the form correctly except IE 7. ( I don’t care about IE6) Input fields aren’t aligned with labels. I use Contact Form 7 in WordPress. I used jQuery to remove <br /> tags it works in all browsers except IE 7

jQuery(‘.wpcf7-form p br’).remove();

When I disable this code same happens in all other browsers. I dunno :(
