I have a color problem.
When I set a bg color the same as the bg of the image that’s on the background, mac makes the bg color lighter, windows shows it how it should.
Example:

Is this solvable, if yes, how?
OS X in general has brighter colors. Unfortunately there is no solution. Not only is there no solution, but every single monitor in the world is different (even monitors with the exact same model number, from the exact same factory).
Chris wrote about this struggle recently: https://css-tricks.com/how-should-we-calibrate-monitors-for-the-web/
yeah, i read that article.
And I don’t mind that the website is brighter on one screen and darker on the other, but I do mind that you see a difference in colors with the exact same color codes in the image and in css.
Like the example shows.
Ahhhh, I think I might know what you’re referring to.
How are you saving your images?
In photoshop.
I don’t know.. RGB, I’ve tried 8 and 16 bit.
