If you where to buy a theme and then edit it a lot, would it not be best to just cut/paste the parent theme css sheet into your child theme css sheet? This would leave you with an empty parent css-sheet , and move its contents into the child theme. So if someone where to edit the theme a lot, this would prevent any !Important tags from being used and at the end it would create alot less code making the site load faster.
Is this thinking correct ?
and regarding theme updates, I would just not update the parent theme css sheet ?
