Changing website bg color

Here’s a question

Like http://www.wacom.com, I would like a website where the background color changes, except instead it changes every 5 seconds to a different color. Is that possible?

So you want the background color to change even when a user hasn’t gone to a new page?

It’s certainly possible via Javascript, but it would also probably be pretty distracting for users!

Although it is definitely possible to use JQuery to change background every 5 seconds it would distract users from the content. Content is the most important thing on a web site (remember that ‘Content Is King’).
