    How/Where do you change the character limit for an ‘excerpt’ in WordPress? I’m putting my recent posts in a sidebar widget area and I want to reduce the character limit of the post’s ‘excerpt’ from it’s default.
    Can anyone guide me in the right direction?

    In answer to my own question I found this-
    limit-the-number-of-words-in-excerpt-without-plugins…
    If anyone else has any other thoughts please share.
