    Hi, just wondering how to change the background color of the selected link in the navigation bar on http://www.bryantgeneralinsurance.com.au/test/

    So it looks like this:
    http://www.bryantgeneralinsurance.com.au/test/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/whenselect.jpg

    (and white text when also selected too)

    Thanks,
    Daniel

    At line 459 of your style.css change it to this:

    .sf-menu li:hover {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #5595B0;
    color: #FFFFFF;
    visibility: inherit;
    }

    At Line 585 change the color value to #FFFFFF

    That will only cover the list items. Covering the complete area seems a bit more problematic with the current applied style, because the background is a image covering the complete header.

    .sf-menu li a.active { background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #5595B0; color: #FFFFFF; display:block; }

    try with this code, i have investigated your issues, you need to remove gray color from a tag, and add active named class where you a tag in menu.
