    I am trying to get all my text to be in the middle of the rows. Right now they are towards the top.

    You know this is where you should be using a table, right? The divs and spans have zero semantic value – screenreaders and search engines are going to have a tough time deciphering that data.

    not tested, but try adding vertical-align: middle; to the spans

    Cool thanks. I ended up inserting line-height: and that did the trick!
    – I am now just looking to center the rest of the text on the page so it sits more in the middle and eliminates the deadspace on the right hand side.
