    Hi there,

    I’m a total new kid on the PHP & MySQl scene – so I’m looking for a totally clear and concise book for PHP & MySQL beginners.

    I was tempted to get "PHP & MySQL for Dummies"… but it was published in 2005 – a little old don’t you think?

    So does anyone know of (or have written) some really good up to date books on this?

    it’s good and easy to understand, However, it is older than the dummies one. Published in 2004.
