MemberHave you checked out “The Lodge”? It’s another project by Chris Coyier here of CSS-Tricks.com – https://css-tricks.com/lodge/ I would recommend doing so. He goes through a complete website design and code.

ParticipantI also much prefer books to websites and my favourite one for CSS is [AdvancED CSS](http://www.apress.com/9781430219323 “http://www.apress.com/9781430219323”) by Joe Lewis , Meitar Moscovitz, though you’ll probably want to have the basics down before you read it.

ParticipantHi, w3shcools is good but they don’t explain the topic very clearly. I think you should check [www.tutorialrepublic.com](http://www.tutorialrepublic.com “HTML/CSS Tutorials”). This site has great tutorials on HTML/CSS. I like this, they explains the topic very clearly.

InactiveI find codeschool allot better. Some courses are free. I think HTML/CSS you can learn for free. http://www.codeschool.com/paths/html-css Teamtreehouse makes me feel kinda awkward because of the way some of the instructors act. Just wanted to mention that.

ParticipantI used http://www.codeacademy.com, my opinion it’s one of the best to start learning from the begging. Also I liked http://www.quizful.com, there is a lot of html/css puzzels to solve, helped me also.
w3school is useful when you forgot something and you need quickly refresh it, but not for learning.October 12, 2015 at 5:52 am #209582Prabhakar
ParticipantHave you checked the new interactive SnoopCode website which offers interactive code learning experience with live editors and GIFs?
