calling static page excerpts dynamically

hey guys. im making a static front page with wordpress. on this page i would like to make 3 boxes with page execerpts from 3 other static pages ie about us, services, missionstatement. and i would like to do it dynamically. im pretty much stuck i have the boxes set up, and i can put the entire page in them but i cant figure out how to just get a excerpt of the static page in the box. any help will greatly be appreciated

We wrote a plugin to do that, but you might wanna check this out: http://wpengineer.com/1909/manage-multiple-excerpt-lengths/

It’s a really helpfull tutorial about using multiple excerpts on your website. On that way you can call the excerpt of those pages. Select them by ID and get the excerpt.
