    Hey all!

My monitor just quit so I’m shopping for a new one. What do you all prefer for web design? Does it matter too much?
My old one had a1680x1050 resolution, and I really liked that. Any other suggestions on what I should look for? I’d appreciate your input!

    Thanks!

I’m a Dell fan, myself. I think they make some high quality monitors. Some people don’t like a monitor too big, but I love me a nice 24″ screen. Resolution can always be changed, but it’s nice to have a large physical size – more real estate equals more productivity for me.

Thanks guys! I was thinking a Samsung, but I’ll look at the Dells as well. Definitely getting a 22-24″ – I’ve got to have all my screens open at once :-)

if you really want to do it right, get two and do a dual setup. I will never have just one monitor ever again

Ditto that for the dual screens 2 x 19″, its fabulous. I’ve had them for several years now.
