So… I’m in need of some guidance and I’m not sure if I should be posting this here since it’s likely not CSS related.

The box-sizing css propertly works wonderful on textareas, which I’ve been using for some time now thanks to Chris’s article a couple years ago.

However, my current project uses a WYSIWYG editor for my textareas (currently nicedit) and those out of the box solutions just hide the textarea and replaces them with a styled div. Then it adds a fixed width & height to match the textarea when it first loaded, making it not fluid.

So I need a solution, similar to how this text area works with this forum. A wysiwyg editor that actually keeps the textarea intact so I can make it fluid.

Any ideas or some other css hackjob to keep the nicedit option?
