Hello everyone. I am trying to style the Dropdown menu from bootstrap. I am using the inverse nav bar having a dropdown navigation. I want the hover effect to be black and not the default blue. I tried changing the default colors from #0088cc to #000000 every possible place. But couldn’t succeed. Can anyone please help me out?

Although I’m not completely conversant with Bootstrap my suggestion would be to size the browser window to the required size to get the menu the way it is supposed to be then use Inspect Element (or Firebug or whatever0 to look at the CSS rule that is making the color #0088cc.

With most of the tools I have mentioned above it will tell you which line of CSS in your CSS file is being used…then change that one.
