    On bootstrap I can change the color of the background in pre and code. But how best to change the colors of the greater than and less than tags and also word div and class etc.

    This doesn’t sound like a bootstrap issue…more like a syntax highlighting issue in your text editor.

    Could you clarify?

    I have been looking on google about that and it is syntax highlighting. I thought it might of been bootstrap css, also found that you can get js code that you can add css themes to for syntax.
