I am a newcomer to Bootstrap (any version) and while I have some familiarity with v2, I’ve decided to embrace v3 and I’m having a bit of trouble understanding the new “col” system. I perfectly understood the v2 span concept. I was able to reduce the content “window” to the size I wanted (the 960px), but I’m not sure how to do this with v3? I don’t want my content on any device going from edge-to-edge with no margin at all. How? I know v3 is “mobile first”, which is fine, I think it’s necessary, but I still need to accommodate desktop users.
