body doesn't expand till the bottom of screen

Suddenly I saw that body doesn’t expand till the bottom of screen. There is a gap bellow the footer.
Waht causes that and how to fix it?

I suggest you look into sticky footers but to make the wood effect reach the bottom I’d suggest adding something like.

html, body, #main {
height:100%;
}
