    hi,

what is the good start place for learning JavaScript except going here
    http://www.w3schools.com/js/

makes it more sense if you already know PHP, jQuery or similar?
or is it just universe for itself and there is no way just to “bite through” the W3SCHOOLS?

    I would avoid w3schools.

I suppose it depends on what you want to do with it. If you’re looking for more front-end manipulation, I’d just plunge right into jQuery (of which there are lots and lots of tutorials).

umm if i may ask, why would you avoid w3schools exactly? is their stuff out dated or do you think they skip out on certain important topics etc?
