Beginner-Dropdown menu-Jumping

Hello-

Anyone willing to help out a newbie?

My first project is to create a website for my portfolio. I recently added a drop down menu, so when you hover over “Digital” a new list of tabs appear. However, it keeps jumping from the left to the navigation bar.

I also have no idea why the green box, “Kate Zimmerman’s Portfolio” is affected by mousing over…..

I am pretty new at this, so I may have built it a little weird, and I dont understand parent/child relationships very well…

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Unfortunately, the “link” you’ve provided is a path to your local computer, so we can’t see the menu in action. It needs to be online.

If you can provide a working demo of the menu in CodePen (or something similar) we’ll be able to see the problem firsthand and be able to offer suggestions then.
