This is likely a very basic CSS question, but can you click absolutely positioned anchor links?

The reason I ask is because I’m working on a page that has an absolutely positioned anchor link that’s a child of an absolutely positioned DIV element that doesn’t seem to be responding when I click on it.

That I can’t click on it makes me think it has something to do with the fact that it’s no longer technically apart of the DOM because of its position. If someone has a workaround, assuming it is the case that you can’t click on absolutely positioned anchor links, I’d love to hear it.

Try setting a z-index on the child

That worked beautifully. Thanks a lot!
