    Hi there,

I’m having a problem whereby any repeating background images I have on my page (header, footer etc) which work fine on any computer with any resolution do not, for some reason, stretch across the whole page on mobile devices. I’ve tested on an iPhone 4, HTC Desire S and iPad and the same issue occurred on all 3. Unfortunately I am not at liberty to disclose the link and whilst I know this makes it harder to explain my issue I hope someone out there can help!

    Thanks,
    Mike

I’m having trouble with this too, I’ve noticed that setting the width of the background image to the min-width of my wrap/container solves this problem. However this may pose future issues I’ve yet to encounter.

You’ll notice that if you refresh the window while the browser is very narrow that the same issue happens as it does on mobile. I’m thinking responsive design from square one might solve this issue with troubleshooting.
