Working on a site with a couple other people right now. The main bkgd is a seamless image of stars, we’re trying to make it so that based on mouse movement (more to the left or more to the right) that the background stars shift slightly.

    Example: http://www.haterpaintball.com/

Can anyone point me toward any tutorials or have any idea how to accomplish that look? We want to do it WITHOUT Flash, hopefully using CSS or potentially jQuery.

I don’t see anything in the example site similar to what you’re describing. Also that site is done with Flash, which may be the solution you’re looking for.

Might have to try reopening the site, didn’t work for me in Firefox but worked in Safari (2nd try), finicky site.

And yes, we know it’s Flash, it’s just an example to show what I’m talking about.
