    I am currently developing a WordPress site and am having an issue with the main background image under the header positioning itself off to the left of the screen instead of centre on the mobile browser I am testing on (Samsung Galaxy S4 / Android / Chrome).

    The image is assigned to a div with the following CSS rules:

    .homePageMainBanner {
    background-image: url(…n-banner.jpg);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-position: center top;
    margin:0px auto;

    The banner sits as it should on desktop browsers it’s just the mobile one that seems to be playing up.

    Website here:

    Any help would be much appreciated !

    It’s not the bg image that’s causing the problem.

    It’s your header and probably other elements that are too wide. The header is 960px wide….you need to add in a mdeia query to affect that and the rest.
