background: fixed on mobile phone browsers

Hi all

I experienced difficulty in viewing this site
http://www.connexio.sg
in my mobile phone browser. The illustrations which are in "position: fixed; bottom: 0px;" don’t fit to the bottom. Works fine in all other browsers (IE8 and equivalent) on pc.

After some googling, I came across this explanation:

When you scroll on a mobile device, you are not really scrolling the site, in fact if you zoom out completely you will see the entire page, you are only scrolling your “window” around the site. When you understand this, your fixed footer dream really shatter, unless you are willing to use complex methods..

Was wondering if there is any workaround regarding this issue. Especially when the ipad uses similar concept for its browser. Appreciate your feedback on this. Thanks :)
