I am an artist trying to save a buck by making my own website. Let me know what you think.

I honestly don’t know what is causing it, but I keep getting a weird skipping graphic effect when I click on your menu options. It’s the opposite of smooth scroll :P

I dunno, might just be how your left side menu is constructed. Anyone else seeing that? I’m using FF.

Other than that, it’s nice and creative. I like how the banners scroll from heading to heading.

My personal opinion is to lose the graphic that is used on the menu that seems to connect to that footer and goes to the right. Maybe just a gradient or something? Just not sold on it :P

These single page scrolling sites are a lot of fun – thumbs up for the excellent illustrations. Of course, it goes to pot with JS disabled and if you disable images, well, there goes the neighborhood. Nonetheless, it’s really unique and different. I’d suggest combining a few sections that are low on content, so the display doesn’t seem so lopsided. Sliding header treatment is nice. Menu tab covers "Oil on Canvas" when expanded – honestly, I didn’t expand the side tab at first and wondered why everything was so centered. Still, great effort. Cheers!
