I have a number of sites, with problem posts.
When making a post, WordPress will take care to make sure you save (publish or update) your post before leaving the post editor, with an error that says:
"Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page?
The changes you made will be lost if you navigate away from this page.
Press OK to continue, or Cancel to stay on the current page."
I understand the error, and see why it should show up. But, I get this error message, even though I just clicked Update, and am 100% sure that the post saved. I can check the published post in another tab, and the new changes show, and all is well.
But, I still cannot leave the post editor without getting the error message again and again. This seems to be a consistent problem where it happens, but it does not happen on every post on a site.
I have tried restoring a few steps back in the Page Revisions, but this does not make any difference.
Any suggestions where this error is coming from, and what I can do about it?
