Are new mobile technologies killing the need for a mobile device site? How much longer will it be necessary to have a redirect to a mobile only site, or will the screen size of devices always require that there is an alternatively smaller and easier to read format. I think that because of screen sizes, physically, that not all the information can be easily read. I know I pinch zoom a lot but I don’t know that I’ve ever thought it was ruining my interneting experience. I was recently approached to work with a company that sells a service to optimize sites for mobile devices,, It’s basically what modify.me does, my though is that in another 2 years or less it would be completely unnecessary. Any thoughts on the longevity or need for a mobile site.
