I was wondering if I could use the value of a particular custom field the same way I use categories or tags. Right now I have a few pages that are blog posts filtered by category. On the sidebar, I want to filter by custom field value. For example, say each post has a field for “artist” and “genre”. I want a list for each of these that lists each value for artist and each for genre, and links to an archive page that lists all posts with that particular value. I would use tags or sub-pages for this, but it doesn’t seem practical for dealing with more than one field. Ideas?
