I have an AnythingSlider in place on a site that I’m developing, and it’s been working like a dream in all browsers.

However, yesterday I upgraded to Safari 5, and now the ‘previous’ panel to the left of the slider is not being hidden – it shows up immediately to the left of the player on load, and then slides across as the next/prev buttons are pressed.

    Example here:

Any suggestions? I don’t want to hack the code about too much, because as I said, it’s been working fine – however, I can’t see why this particular issue is now occurring?

Just for the record, a similar thing is happening in Safari 5 on the demo page too:

It seems the problem is caused by Youtube videos…

I’m not seeing any issues in Safari 5.0.3 for Windows 7. The css tricks demo page is a bit outdated, are you seeing the same issue here (it’s the most up-to-date demo)?

Safari 5.1.2 on Windows 7 definitely has the issue as well, both on the demo pages and the example. However, upon a page refresh on the new demo page, the issue did not occur anymore.

Yep – Safari 5.1.4 on Windows 7 is what I’m seeing the problem in.

But, the proloser demo seems fine, so will try updating the script and see if that fixes it…
