    First of all, hello everybody, I’m new to this site. It seems you can have a lot of fun here :)
    Does anyone know why does the AnythingSlider chew’s up and spits out non ASCII characters.
    Ātri nopelni bļed lielu piķi! –> Ä€tri nopelni bļed lielu piÄ·i!
    Obviously that is unwanted. Is there a way to fix it? Its just regular text set between the

Could you provide a demo? Is your page set to UTF-8, or some equivalent?

Here is an example
The html and js file is set to UTF-8, but when it renders the page it comes out as Western ISO.

Hmm, ok when I look at the page itself, it is set to “ISO-8859-1”. I think because you need to add this at the top of the page head:
