Anything Slider with “Text” instead of 1..2..3…

I have been reading over a few things on Anything slider and I am trying to get text instead of the numbers at the bottom. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Much appreciated.

I was able to achieve it on my product page which also uses this slider, but have been unsuccessful at any attempts on the homepage.

See the whole area of the demo paged called “Formatting Navigation Text”. You can write a custom function to return text as needed. Or, just hide the navigation entirely (buildNavigation: false), and build your own and use the “External Slideshow Control” information to make it work.
