    Hi Zeebee!

    This isn’t really enough information for me to go on. The images will stack vertically when there is a script error on the page, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be caused by AnythingSlider. It would help if you provided a link or shared the error – in Chrome, type in Ctrl-Shift-J to open the javascript panel, then click on the console tab. In Firefox, you’ll need the Firebug addon. And in IE, you can press F12, then click on the scripts link to look for console errors.

    Hi, thanks very much for your help, the images are stacking vertically, if you visit http://www.xxxxxxxxxx.co.uk everything is fine, click on ‘shop online’ everything is still fine and the https is showing, then click ‘home’ the https remains and the slider is stacking. I’m not a coder so would really appreciate any help you can give.

    Hi Zeebee!

    Well it looks like jQuery isn’t even being loaded. The reason your page switches from http:// to https:// is because of the base tag

    This makes all of the “relative links” on the page use the https protocol – which is the secure protocol needed to shop using credit card numbers, etc – so it is necessary!

    So anyway, you’ll need a copy of jQuery on your page. I would follow this suggestion by Paul Irish on how to mix protocols (http:// and https://) without getting the silly security error in IE by adding jQuery as follows:

    Hi thanks for the info, I’ve added the script before y analytics code but still can’t seem to get things working or stop the security pop-up, also tried switching the ‘load jquery’ in anythingslider to ‘yes’ without success – help!

    Try changing these lines to use a relative URL:

    to look like this:

    There are some “//” in there that will mess up the URL. Also, remove the jQuery code above the google analytics. jQuery needs to be loaded before the easing and anythingslider.js files.

    any idea where this code is being generated from, ie is it within the anything slider files?

    Found this on the mod_anythingslider.php file, is this the code to change?

    $document =& JFactory::getDocument();

    if ($loadjquery)

    $document->addscript(‘http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.min.js’);

    $document->addscript(JURI::root().’/modules/mod_anythingslider/js/jquery.easing.1.2.js’);

    $document->addscript(JURI::root().’/modules/mod_anythingslider/js/jquery.anythingslider.js’);

    What are you using? Joombla right? If so, that mod was last updated in June 2010. I really know nothing about Joombla; but seeing what you have above, it should start working if you remove “root().” and / from in front of “modules” and see if that fixes it. So you should end up with this:

    $document->addscript('//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.min.js');

    $document->addscript(JURI::'modules/mod_anythingslider/js/jquery.easing.1.2.js');

    $document->addscript(JURI::'modules/mod_anythingslider/js/jquery.anythingslider.js');

    seem to be making progress Mottie, stopped the banners stacking horizontally but they are not scrolling through, changed the above to this:

    $document->addscript(‘//ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.min.js’);

    $document->addscript( ‘modules/mod_anythingslider/js/jquery.easing.1.2.js’);

    $document->addscript(‘modules/mod_anythingslider/js/jquery.anythingslider.js’);

    $document->addStyleSheet(‘modules/mod_anythingslider/css/slider.css’);

    Hi Zeebee! It looks like this line is missing the first part of the URL “ajax.google.apis.com/”

    $document->addscript('//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.min.js');
