Animated PNG’s anyone?

Just wondering if anyone has ever checked out the APNG format. It’s just like animated GIF’s but uses PNG’s instead resulting in much higher image quality.

Although it’s unofficial both Firefox and Opera support it. If your on Firefox now check this example.

There’s even an add-on for Firefox to create your own here.
