    Hi all,

For a client I have made some changes to a WordPress theme: http://themeforest.net/item/punch-responsive-portfolio-wordpress-theme/3036959.

This theme has a build in slider (Flexslider) which is used to present screenshots with different aspect ratio’s. For portrait images this works fine, they fill the width and are cropped with ‘overflow-hidden’. For images in landscape this is no option. When images do not fill the height we would like to show the images in (vertical) center of the slider bounding box.

I have now ‘solved’ this problem by reducing the height of the slider area to that of the smallest images but I would like to know if there is another solution. The slider has to remain responsive and there is no real control over the dimensions of uploaded slides so that does complicate things a bit.

The client has allowed me to link to the work in progress but, to prevent search engines from indexing the demosite, it is password protected. Username: apps & Password: apps. Please have a look at http://www.icecoldapps.com/newwebdesign/?portfolio=servers-ultimate-pro.

    Thnx in advance!

BTW: Due to a skiing trip I sorta lost track of a related question I had posted here a few weeks ago. It is a bit late but I would like to thank Merri for her help and mark the question as solved, preferably without unnecessary bringing up the thread. Unfortunately, I do not see edit nor PM functions in this message board;).
