I went mobile 1st. And I may never turn back.

Any insight on adding an alert for desktop users “This experience is much better on your phone or tablet… So check back from there!” or something along those lines…

Would love to add “text yourself a link” option to this alert if possible…

Anyone able to point me to the right search terms or a proven solution?

THX in advance and hope all of you are doing well.

Roger that. Strange request maybe… strange times – definitely.

I will take your advice to heart though… will be thinking this through a little more. Might be better off after I run through a few scenarios.

I think you’re taking mobile-first design a little too far. A mobile-first design process just means that you design for a mobile device first, then you scale up that design to tablet, then to desktop. The experience shouldn’t change (aside from context specific interactions and cues, maybe a feature or two as apporpriate).

What do you mean that your mobile design is a better experience? What’s better about it?
