I’m currently running WP 2.8 and I would like to add a few additional fields to the comments form on my blog posts and have the input from those fields populate in my DB but not show in the comment itself when it is posted. Basically I’m trying to gather more information about my commenters without actually displaying that additional info to the entire world.

Does that make sense? Is there an easy way to do this?

    Any guidance would be helpful.

    Thanks.

This is a WordPress plugin that may be exactly what you need.

I acutally installed that plug-in before I wrote my initial post and I could never get it to work.
