Hi all,
I would describe my wordpress skills as average, and have a few features on my website, that I am desperate to get set up, but alas are beyond me.
My website, is a brokerage for luxury ski chalets across the Alps, I have listed more than 250 properties, and currently they are seperated by resort, an example of one resorts listings can be seen here: http://www.summitretreats.com/luxury-ski-chalets/verbier/
I need to employ a search function, so these chalets can be filtered by resort, price, number of people, and features such as swimming pool, hot tub, cinema etc.
I would love to be able to have simple search area such as this: http://www.alpineguru.com/chalet-search/
And a results page similar to, with equal functionality as this : http://www.edmistoncompany.com/charter/search/grid.htm?yacht_profile_type_id=2&vessel_type_id=2&page=1&vessel_type_id=¤cy_code_id_price=1&price_from=0&price_to=1000000&vessel_length_id=1&length_from=0&length_to=100&min_guests=&quick_jump_to_charter_profile=
If anyone can help me come even close, that would be marvellous!
Look forward to seeing who can rise to the challenge and let me know how this can be achieved.
Hi siouxfan45, I dont think so, I just added a new page for each chalet, then on the resort page (first link above) added an image of each chalet with a link to the chalet page, and a caption with chalet name, size etc..
OK, cool, thanks for that – how hard/ easy is this to do, im thinking it could be quite a major job for a small function?!
Any resources to help me figure this out?
