a scientific conferece web site

Hi everybody,

My supervisor made a request to me for making a conference web site. Since usually all conference websites look the same, as an amateur web designer, I tried to make something different.

Here is the current web site:

When she saw the front page, my supervisor asked me whether an "attractive photo" could be placed on it. Any suggestions?

I must say it’s a nice site – as for the nice photo. I would suggest having some photos in the header- why not head over to a stock photo site (http://www.sxc.hu/) and search for some relevant images. Then you could make a header background to go behind the page title.
