Although it’s not as powerful as Firebug, IE has a debug thingie too. If you have IE8 or IE9, hit F12 and there it is. With it, you can also make your IE behave like it’s IE7 or IE8.

It takes a little time to get used to (especially when you’re so used to Firebug) but once you get the basics, it can be very helpful.
