We tend to use Photoshop as a ‘genera;’ website “design” / mock-up tool but that isn’t what Adobe actually designed it for.

Adobe will tell you that’s why they have Illustrator/Fireworks/PS…hence, the Creative Suite.

General vector image are the forte (including export to SVG) of, obviously, Illustrator.
