Hey FearlessChicken, I am having a similar issue. I’m using sprite images for my horizontal navigation and in all other browsers (FireFox, Chrome, Safari, Opera) seams to read this well. But in IE 7 & 8 it removes the images leaving a link only. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. (frustrating)
