If its wordpress I think it would be better to do all as permalinks. In the permalink settings options it only gives you the choice as either/or. (For “pretty permalinks” you would have to type “/%postname%” in the custom structure.) There’s a good plugin for permalinks out there but the name is eluding me right now. Just search the WP plugin repository – maybe you can find something that will do what youre looking for.
