Maybe add a slider and include other projects or put a light colored frame around it or something.
3. On the blog page: the widget background color doesn’t look great against the blog background color.

I forgot about my favicon, so thanks for the reminder on that. I also see where you’re coming from with the featured projects section. I’ve been meaning to add a jquery slider there, but I’ve been procrastinating that because I want it to work with wordpress enough to where I can just add those posts (and use the post thumbs) to a category and have it then be added into the slider. I’m sure its not too hard I just haven’t buckled down and attempted it yet. I’ll have to give it a shot this week sometime.
