Overall it’s not bad, it could certainly use some more simplicity though.

It’s very shadow heavy when it doesn’t quite need to me.

You also need to understand what the shadows are doing. The sidebar, for example, attracts way too much attention to itself by being popped out so far. It looks way more important than any of the main content to the left of it.
