@Shikkediel Thanks so much for the response! I kept googling media queries for the samsung devices and ended up just getting rid of the bg image and replacing it with the color… so I think I fixed it actually.

Regarding the feather scaling down initially: the client purchased wp engine hosting which is faster than the hosting on my test server so I’m not seeing that on the live site anymore.

Now I’m trying to fix the site internet explorer 10. :-(
