This is obviously just my opinion. I’ve tried a number of “IDE’s” in the past, but I’ve chosen Sublime Text as my favorite editor. I hardly use any of the bloated features in most IDEs, and I really like the the simplicity to Sublime’s interface and its surprisingly subtle power.

I’ve read a lot of people sing praises of VIM. To be honest I really like the idea of being able to code and navigate the editor without lifting my hands from the keyboard, but I haven’t taken the time to really try it out yet.
